anyway... house was in his late 40s and still not married... being in the period of menopause, he was super paranoid and hallucinates... (he was notorious for when he thought his neighbour was seducing his non-existing wife and went to seduce his wife instead... ended up really battered... you see... he lived beside the zoo... hmm)

anyway... one afternoon, which he was taking his 2 hours beauty nap, house saw a vision... (tataduuummmmm!!!) homer simpson appeared with a donut in a hand and another chocolate-coated donut in the other... he told house that the ally zipapu (at least that was what it sounded like between mouthfuls of donuts) was actually going to invade china!! OH NO!!! ah!!

he immediately went to tell the emperor... but you know the story about the boy who cried wolf... similarly no one believed that house was telling the truth... they thought he finally went beserk and was a walking manace to the village (not that he was not initially) and decided to dump him into the river... along with the stale rice that was found in his home...

so now you know the story of qu yuan aka house and stale rice...
