day one... arrived at school early in the morning lugging my heavy bag... (most of the things packed by the big beauty mummy)... so had no idea where vision valley was... turned out really isolated... it was like near the country i think (HAHA... i THINK) cos there was no reception and loads of orchids!!! haha... we went past this mandarin plantation with loads of mandarins on the ground... then we were planning to steal them at night... haha... sadly it started rainning at this point... i want to ask hor... who in the right mind would arrange a camp in the middle of winter??? like duh! cos of the rain some groups had to skip some activities... luckily not me... heehee... ok back to camp got off the bus and went to our respective rooms... smaller then i expected but what the heck... it was double bunks and 4 in a room... so it was me, shan, emily and chen in one and sylvia, janet, julia and nancy in the other... (btw i was in lodge 3 room 31)... basically the whole point of giving us the bunks and the 2 rooms were useless... cos we were mainly in one of the rooms and for our room, we didn't use the top bunk... we slept in the lower bunks… haha… so for both nights I was sleeping beside shan… (haha… poor thing… she has to tolerate my horrible sleeping habits… she even claimed i was shaking… haha) had this introduction with brendon and chris… 2 of the many cute guys there… brendon was nice but I can’t stand his overly done sarcasm… and chris is SUPER cute ok!!! Just that he has an issue with his hair… oh man… it was all over his face… haha…

had free time which I spent wondering around the place with chen… then lunch, which couldn’t have been even more pathetic… next comes the very boring relationships talk… oh man!!! We were supposed to learn how to use a condom… haha… we had these fake penis and different flavoured condoms… very gross… eww… (note to oneself: never purchase licorice flavoured condoms in the future… they STINK) I swear I’m never gonna touch those oily things ever again… ok… maybe not never… just not unless necessary… oh man… gross…

high ropes… the most challenging thing that I did… and I’m never gonna forget it… physically and mentally… it basically involved you climbing up a tree to a height of around 7-8 metres high to a cable… then you were supposed to walk along the cable… holding the suspended ropes for balance... then you get down via the mini flying fox… SUPER FREAKY… oh man… never realized how far apart the ropes were until I got up… and when I was climbing the tree, I actually slipped when I almost reached the cable (it was raining and wet as I mentioned earlier) so I came tumbling down… didn’t fall all the way down… well… erm… I grabbed onto one of those hooks on the tree and my groin just slammed into one of the lower cables on the tree… *OUCH* yes it was unbearable… I’m lucky that I’m not a guy… otherwise it would be the end of the su family… I carried on after much struggles and when i stood on the cables my legs were like jelly man… oh… my god… those ropes just got further and further apart and dunno how many times I felt like I was about to topple and just give up… but luckily I didn’t and I dun regret it… the experience was wonderful when you know you’ve accomplished such an impossible task… from it, I gain the knowledge that i’m not only a vase… I have the looks, brain and brawns :D heehee… AND I have this huge bruise on my butt from the infamous fall (it’s itching now… and according to my mum it means that it’s healing) and aches in my arms the following 2 days…

bush walking… BORING… I’m sure no one’s interested in the 1000 different kinds of bankias and gum trees as well as the tub full of horse poo I stepped on… so let’s pass… afternoon tea (I swear they were treating us like pigs, feeding us 6 meals!) then a boring talk on drugs…

we were supposed to have a campfire that night but thanks to the bloody weather (curse you weatherman!!!) it was cancelled… but there was this talent quest instead… well… it was actually not talent per se… it was mainly skimpily clothed students trotting down the auditorium… well… at least we got to drool over some hot girls… haha… oh but the teachers were superb… they were WOW… haha… they staged this play and basically, mr ogilvie was blowing condoms (at one stage it even burst), mr ingrati got his top off, showing his protruding belly… and when he was faking unconsciousness on the floor, (it was a sexy scene), ms tagg actually went on top of him and mr ingrati started gropping her butt… OH MY GOD!!! It was GROSS… to think teachers would actually do that kinda things in front of their students… but It sure got everyone laughing like mad…

back to our rooms… we played double dare… which involved some really erm… gross dares… but everyone was real sporting and we enjoyed it…. Haha… then we chatted until like 4 am before we slept… wow… haha… ended up everyone was crying cos dunno who started talking bout their mums (what issit with girls and mums??)… oh wells… made me wanna ring my mum at that moment and listen to her voice… (but didn’t in the end cos the thought of her reaction when i wake her up at 4 am in the morning just to tell her I love her is just to disturbing) and I realized that every family has their problems and I should be contented… even with my dad… hai… I LOVE YOU MUMMY!!! SIZZLING BEAUTY!!! Haha

day 2…

wow action pack day… boring low ropes… followed by the ultimate giant swing… it was like this swing that goes up to 10m high… it was more fun than freaky actually… thoroughly enjoyed it :D and I finally got to try out archery!!! Woohoo!!! Haha… but it was disappointing cos I krpt missing the target… ppl at least miss the bullseye not that malu… I couldn’t even hit the board!!! Grr… (partly cos of my sore arm I couldn’t stretch the bow to its full length resulting in my shots always being not far enough… and also cos my arms have never been strong) hai… that marks the end of my archery dream… orienteering was tiring… it was this treasure hunt… only thing is that we were told what we were hunting for… so me and kiufei were really lost… until lovely Julia told us we were supposed to look for punchers secured on trees… haha… thanks loads…

last on the list was flying fox… wow… it was really high up and it was quite cute in a sense… cos the platform that you kick off is actually shaped like a ship’s deck and you jump off a plank… so it’s really cute and pirate feeling… haha… I was super scared to jump off the plank… cos I just couln’t get over the barrier that I was going to fall and end up in pulp… (fear of heights kicking in…) but I still went on with it and it was loads fun!!! Haha… the part where you fly down is not scary at all… really fun and I even let go of my arms and pretended that I was flying… haha… I seriously felt like a was a squirrel… haha…you know those that can fly… haha… another cutie called yogi (dun you think that sounds like a bear??) helped me down… he’s really nice and cute… loads of ppl had this stupid crush on him… harhar… (not me cos afterall, he’s still not gideon… haha… he’ll be the only instructor that I’ll ever fall for)

oh and I must digress at this part to bitch… oh man… some of the ppl were just so damn flirty lah… OH MY GOD… they might as well just climb onto them at the rate they’re going… jarren told me that she actually saw a group of girls going up to yogi and massaging him… OH MY GOD… that’s like so erm… this sounds bad but whorish… like excuse me!! You’ve just met him??? And jarren even said he looked as though he was turned on… ok… I’ve lost total interest in him no matter how cute he is… bitches…

note that I’m not jealous… I’m just disgusted by how low some girls could sink to… and that I’m actually in the same school as them… eww…

next we had this guest speaker called brent saunders… I swear he’s like the fat version of jim carrey!!! Oh man!!! His talk was SUPER funny… and it was basically bout how to escape from date rapes… he was a super good talker… and super funny… idol sia!!!

We had this ‘bush dance’ after dinner… not really a bush dance cos it was indoor… haha… like I said… some idiot failed to notice the name was ‘bush’ dance… haha… fun… cos we had this country singer who sang loads of unknown songs… haha… and we just kept dancing weird dances… haha…

Back to our rooms for another round of dares… haha… we slept at around midnight cos we had much more important things next morning… what… heehe..

Last day….

Woke up heeluva early at 4am… to do the very important thing…

WATCH SOCCER!!!

Haha… I’m not exactly a soccer fan… but I’m definitely a fan for crowds… haha… me, chen and Julia went… (shan went, but slipped back to bed just after a few minutes… lazy pig…) the rest of us patriotic maniacs snuggled up in th common room of lodge 3… loads of ppl from other lodges came (teachers too) cos only our lodge has that channel… oh man… watching soccer with a bunch of friends is super fun!!! (if only we had beer… soccer+beer… what more could a guy want???) it was like super tensed and when you are screaming, there were loads of other ppl screaming with you… FUN!!! Oh man… aussie gogogo!!! Haha… super funny cos the goalie wasn’t the best one, so it was obvious that the other team mates didn’t trust him and whenever croatia was trying to score, you’ll see this horde of yellow charging… HAHA… and I must comment on the sportsmanship… oh my god… croatia was like super unsportsmanly lah… like haha… the funniest was their coach though… super animated and attention-seeking… everytime when the camera turns to him, you see him waving his arms like a chicken… HAHA… freak… and then there was this player who was stupid enough to go shove the referee when awarded with a yellow card… which awarded him a red pass immediately to the stands… haha… oh… the worst was this guy who was awarded with a red card, and just refused to leave the field… he continued lingering on the field until the end of the game… another freak… haha…

Soccer is fun to watch with a bunch of friends… haha… really hope aussie will defeat italy!!! If I can still survive after falling on my groin, nothing is impossible!!! Heehee…

We had to pack our bags early in the morning… then we went for abseiling… didn’t do it though… cos my arms and legs were killing me and I just couldn’t be bothered on the last day… it did not have as much appeal to me as compared to flying fox or giant swing… pooh… then we went on this walk… to see the horses!!! Haha… they were really cute ok!!! And I got so close I could see the goo and shit in their eyes… HAHA… after lunch and a few group photos, we were all set to go… so it was bye to vision valley and hello home…

Overall loved this camp… really good experience and it really helps ppl to learn more about themselves and their friends… just that there should be more free time though… really fun and enjoyable… vision valley was like heaven… it was a place full of hills and cliffs and trees… it was really beautiful in the morning with the heavy mist… you could actually see the tiny water droplets in the air… loved it!!!
