is quite disturbing...

i watched it today (funny how the posters say its out on 17th but u can actually watch it on 16th... haha :p made pe so freaked out for nothing cos i thought i wun b able to watch it today cos other days are all packed!)

i feel rather bad for saying this but heath ledger's death has sort of promoted this film further... i know its not meant to b that way lah! (god bless him) but its just that cos its his last work so movie-goers will be more inclined to watching it... right? at least that's wat i think...

but i think he did awesome! omg from the costumes (yes the costumes, even including the nurse outfit) to the makeup that was caked on and runny and to the nitty gritty details like how the joker liked to contantly lick his lips (which made him appear to b less psychological stable and humane... my guess was to project the image of a snake/dog... but i dunno lah!but it was an amazing add of touch to the character i must say)... it was all so freaky... he really sold his image of a psychotic killer... which makes the movie very haunting and depressing... and its also a great pity that such an amazing actor like him was lost at such a young age... omg he had such a bright future... hai... im glad that they got rid of that old guy jack nicholson and got heath ledger to play this part cos i dun believe that anyone else could have done a better job :) spectacular...

i think guys would really like this movie cos most of the special effects were damn realistic... all the explosions, gadgets (i've always thought that batman was the lousiest of all super heros cos other ppl can spin web or turn green but he's nothing without his gadgets! wait... he'll b a multi-billionare... haha!abit like ironman lor! but ironman cooler cos he's got a wicked sense of humour!) the hospital collapsing... arent guys into all these destructive things??? not my cup of tea... cos i can just imagine the tax-payers' money being wasted...

and the makeup of harvey dent was really realistic too... wahlau the fake eyeball can move somemore lor!!! omgggggg it was seriously vomit-inducing sight...

however 2.5 hours for a movie is too blardy long!!! comparatively, its much more dark and disturbing than ironman... i feel really heavy thinking abt it even now... u feel like there is still hope in humanity... but then there are forces in the dark as well... so yah... my verdict? watch it but make sure u bring nibbles, water and clear ur bladder b4 the movie for spectacular acting and special effects!!!! however miss it if ur already very emo... haha!

on a totally different note! alice bought alvin and the chipmunks dvd and i'll b watchign it with her tmr! theodore looks so fat and irrisistably cute on the cover!!! haha!
