uni's starting soon and i havent finished my 'homework'... bahhhh hate it lah... somethings they tell us to do seems utterly ridiculous, but i hope in time they will prove to be more than that...hai...

DIY NAIL ART 3

(my fav jeans in the background! love the yellow and orange stitches!)
white base with shimmery yellow polkadots and stars... some gold crystals (i didnt have much gold crystals left since most of them were used to stud my phone teehee) quite nice even though my only complaint is that the yellow was abit too light... so the contrast is not great...
the stars came in this small box of random bits for nail art bought in morning glory for ~$2... contains other bits and pieces like stars and flowers in other colours and random (rather dodgy) crystals... quite ok for beginner and simple designs...
btw white is really hard to maintain cos i keep freaking out abt staining when i use ball point pens :p

aha my oversized cardigans craze!! dun really like the grey one... but they were both really cheap cos almost everywhere's having sales right now haha

i love sales!!! but that does not mean im cheap ok! fine... maybe by abit... but think abt it... why would i pay the full price (which is exorbent) if i can get the same thing for a quarter??? of course u have to splurge abit sometimes... items that are veryvery nice and trendy will confirm get sold out... so things like this should be grabbed instantly! (i once bought a strapless chiffon polkadotted top for $50 which i only worn once for a special occasion :p) but things that are common... just wait lah! its not like ur life depended on it right? (although it also depends on luck cos that black cardigan was the last one! yippes!! im planning to do the angelababy look... i know abit buyaolian but its a cute and casual look :))


food for the mind!!! from one of my fav authors... i've already finished the book in like... 3 days? its quite thick mind u... worth a read... jodi picoult's novels always end up with a twist... those kind that u nvr expected lah!! but my sister's keeper is still better :p

see the price tag? the supre one was reduced to $10 (only! shock!) from $50 and the bardot one was reduced to $20 from $70 (hell i'll nvr spend $70 on a plain cardigan go eat shit!! it is quite good quality and the cotton is soft... but $70?!?!?!?)... and these shops are still reaping in loads! cos i can guess that each piece of clothing like that would cost ~$2 per piece to produce... MAX...(but of course im not factoring in the shop rent and pay for the shop assistants)... maybe even cheaper since they produce in such bulk...

dun even get me started on branded stuff!! esp brands like gucci... hello u are only paying the price for their name... period... their bag isnt even leather! its plain old fabric and they have the audacity to charge that kinda price? i'll draw in the G's for you on any bag for $5... and still so many ppl use it....................... i dun even see it as a prestigious brand cos its so commonly on the road... either save (quite alot) more and buy an lv... in that case u get leather so you pay for the name and the quality! but then... i prefer to save a WHOOOLLLLE LOOTTTTTT MORRREEEE and buy chanel!!!! in which case u get leather + quality + name + chic design!!!! OMGGGMGMGMG im going to hyperventilate!!!

i went shopping yest too and bought 2 peter alexander tees and a pair of jayjays black jeans... the tees are so cute!!! one of them actually says "i want money", which is absolutely true! and they are nice and soft! are they meant to be worn out? cos i thought peter alexander mostly sells pjs... but im going to wear them out cos they're too cute! teehee!!! and i feel that jayjays jeans fit me the best! (and levis too!) even though they are still too long and i have to fold them up abit... but size 7 fits my oddly shaped bum the best! i hope more stores stock 7... its neither here nor there but it fits... hai...
