went to officially change my name today... but then... when i got there... realised i forgot to bring my citizenship cert........ -_- hh!!! have to go tmr again!! grrrrr...

as some will know... it was world youth day a few days ago and the pope was here... and the media cleverly dubbed his car (which looked more like a golf buggy...) the pope-mobile......... oh that's ok lah... but then... they one-upped themselves... they dubbed his helicopter the holy-copter...... y so lame?!?!?!?!?!

i've been following the whole xiaxue-dawn yang drama in singapore (cos im super bored haha) and i saw this comment in one of the sites somewhere from someone who allegedly knows dawn yang...
WHOA LIKE THAT ALSO CAN ONE??? "HOWEVER DILUTED"?!?!?! you've got to be kidding me... so IF my great great great grandfather happens to be a quarter korean and my great great grandmother on my father's side happens to be half saudi arabian im a mixed blood?? -_- WAHLAO DILUTED ALSO CAN MEH???? then wats the point of the term "mixed blood'? cos im sure for almost everyone in the world, if u look closely and deeply into their family history, you're bound to find one of their ancestors being some other ethnicity. BUT does that make everyone mixed-blooded or eurasian??? isnt the whole point of callin ppl mixed-blooded is that they have a significant portion of their heritage mixed right to differentiate them from the ppl who are not mixed right? -_- some kinda pathetic lame explanation trying to make ppl sound exotic...
anyway its kinda interesting that humans tend to desire having their ethnicity mixed to epic proportions or claiming that they do... while for other animals (like dogs and horses), its more desirable to have pure-breds... ha of course cannot compare humans to horses and dogs lah! but its quite funny... ha...
but this incident... im hoping that xiaxue will win the lawsuit... if it ever takes place that is... (which i hope it will cos it'll add alot of drama to my boring life lor!) cos i'd rather a person with substance and personality win it! and its abit outrageous that instead of sueing the person who is doing most damage to her (dawn's) image and reputation, the person behind dawnwayang hate blog, she targets a person who's only voicing her opinions... of course that's assuming (through common sense) that she's suing xiaxue due to reputation damage and not for publicity... cos sometimes i think that dawnwayang, albeit funny at times, crosses the line... and its abit hypocritical that b4 dawn yang wrote on her blog that she "accepts xiaxue's apology" and lets the matter rest and will not pursue it... then next thing u know, she deletes those words and sues xiaxue... wth??? if u had enough grace to decide not to sue xiaxue in the first place then stick to ur decision!
but haha ppl let's watch the show unravel!! :)

If her grandfather is eurasian, then why did she sometimes say she is Dutch/Thai or Jap/Dutch ? Bcos that's the mix that exists in her bloodline, however diluted.
