when i heard abt the theme i know there would b HELLUVA lot of pirates and sailors... so there is NOOOO way im gna dress up as one..... soooo... i spent one entire week looking for places that sells giant spongebob shirts or prints giant spongebob shirt... DARN NO ONE WANTED TO DO IT FOR ME LOR! DAMMIT!
but did i give up???
NO!
i bought a cheap esprit $7 yellow tee (steal!) and a box of acrylic paint, and armed with my impressive artistic flair, i spent 2 hrs painting!
results? a pretty impressive spongebob shirt plus a killer backache :(
that coupled with my sister's spongebob bag that i scavanged at the last minute + white socks + black school shoes = kickass costume!
but DAMN it was worth it! i was the ONLY spongebob for the night! yippe! though i wished there was a patrick...
but i hereby claim our year to be the bomb... god we were like the only year that BOTHERED to dress up! u cant imagine the lengths ppl go to! and im not the only one who DIY-ed my costume either!
