mummy bought the canon G10 today... tossing between the lumix lx3 (which i wanted in AGESSSS) and G10 and mummy chose the G10 for the megapixels and the zoom... plus it would be more suitable for the studio product photography that we're gna b doing...

sadly it doesnt have the pinhole mode that i ADORE in the lumix lx3...

have yet to try it out... but hopefully will take pics soon! and hopefully i'll b able to bring it to the eyeball! altho is MUCH BULKIER that the lumix... not my style... but mummy wanted the big guns and theres no way of stopping her!

apparently its made of titanium -_- HA! excellent! i'll see how mummy breaks this camera! bet it'll leave a dent on the floor if she drops it!

also ordered alot of lighting stuff for studio photography... omg photographers must be damn rich cos those things are FREAKING EXPENSIVE!!! like a flash costs $400++... like hell you can buy a camera with that!! i had to sorta maneuver around to get the most economically friendly one, since quite frankly we're no pros... and buying equipment worth thousands of dollars would jst be a waste in my hands...

got 2 brollies (heehee! i actually contemplated MAKING MY OWN umbrella reflector!!)n a stand kit for the brolly (which is more expensive than the umbrella itself so go figure -_-)

on a side note, im really curious where sportsgirl gets all the softboxes they have on display!!! cos softboxes are quite expensive and they have quite a handful in each store!

anyway light source is the pain in the arse cos thats the pricey one... haha improvised and scrimped abit! bought a clamp lamp and a trumpet top bulb (which acts as a whooping 120W!)from bunnings!

studio photography for cheapass-es! will see how it goes!

finally got (fleece?) pants from nike today... wanted adidas ones but i'd have to admit, the nike ones just felt buttery soft!!! hmph... it accentuates my BUTT :( to the point that it looks like another planet (or maybe its jst their mirror) but then since they are casual pants i guess style dun matter that much? u cant complain when its THAT soft!

and got an adidas jacket as well... omgomgomg gushgush i picked these realllllly nice purple flats for mummy!! they are stella mccartneys n super pretty in satin!!! it was the last pair in her size!!! if not i would've grabbed them... this other lady was eyeing the shoes when mummy was trying them on! haha i have good taste!

there they are!!! so pretty!!! i would've loved a pair myself but im like... bigfoot...
