im not a person who likes emo moody blog entries... my goal of writing a blog has always been so that i can keep down the good things in life and later look back and see the happy stuff... i know alot of ppl view blogs as a venue for them to vent their unhappiness as well (and im guilty for a couple of times) but i really do want to keep it to a minimum...

hopefully things will change... or i will change it... shan is not v fond of my idea, because its a shit one... but i figure i'll probably never have the courage to carry it out anyway... i dunno... but it sucks that she's back in china and im too cheap to call her (international call v ex leh!) cos she's been my 'support buddy' for soso long... can always talk to her cos she so understanding but v mature... so can tell me off when im doing something wrong...

but anyway...

i fell in love with a pair of sunglasses!

and thats uber hard considering how picky i am... i will only pay the price for polarised sunglasses... none of that prada and D&G shit for me! i mean i love the brands and the styles, but seriously, once u put on a pair of polarised sunnies, u nvr wanna go back. and im definately not paying 400++ for a pair of sunnies that i know will only give me plain UV protection...

thats y i dun wear sunglasses (the only pair i hav is these raybans that are cat2 nonpolarised so i dun see the point in wearing them... they dun keep shit out)

but most of the nice feminine and fashionable sunnies out these are NON POLARISED!! even this pair of raybans that i like doesnt come with polarised lens!! majorly shattered!

but seeing that im gna start driving soon (hopefully) and also that aussie summer sun REALLY kills... i was thinking of getting rayban wayfarers... polarised of course... not wat i was dreaming of since its not feminine at all! kinda androgynous... but i knew that was the closest i was gna get...

its not the BIGBIG sunnies that i love but the colours!! im gna hyperventilate!!! we have the tortoise/pink one in our store and i was like 'soooooo pretty!!' to molly at work (who is the HUGEST mauijim fan ever)

now that i jst saw the peachy pink/white one online im in loveeeeeee~~~~~~~~~

and its simple and not over the top with huge blings and all that (weird right? i love crystals but i hate them on frames or sunglasses... its jst too ostentatious) i *heart* sunglasses with thin temples and this is totally it!

ok imma gna get the peach/white one! plus i get MASSIVE staff discount for maui jim! HURHUR

jst noteworthy that maui jim and serengeti are considered to have the top lenses in sunglasses... of course some ppl are gna disagree... but i think its quite true... i i know the best is out there, why would i purchase something the same price but performs alot poorer??
