silver lining
humongous storm cloud = my house caught on fire
silver lining = everyone's safe and sound
humongous storm cloud = some of the stock downstairs in the garage are burnt to smithereens (no insurance!!)
silver lining = most of the stock is ok...
the whole fire thing jst hit me in the face like 'WHOA!'... i never expected something like that will really happen... like thinking back now its really scary how close to death me n my family was... if not for that kind couple who banged on our door shouted on us to get out of the house... the firefighter actually said that if they came 5 mins later, no one would survive, because upstairs is timber floors and that would obviously give way to the fire... its just a really scary thought... so for the next few days i wun b able to go anywhere... (missing out on napat+nat's dinner *pouts*) jst staying at home and tidying up... my room still smells like smoke and i'm not even going to mention my garage... the garage door jst looks like an old lady's patchwork... i still have problems sleeping at night...
but the important thing is i'm still alive...
