Another year has passed, and i'd like to look back on the year that's passed... *cue time travel music* So these are the things that happened in 2010 that made to the "List of Mentionables"

January

Went to watch the Australian Open in Melbourne with friends. That's my big face blocking the tennis court.


clubbing was a must of course.

February
1.

Found the super rare chanel pearl drop earrings. This crystal interlocking C and pearl drop is SUPER hard to find!

2.

Went to Cairns and snorkeled at Great Barrier Reef. Awesome experience and definitely want to revisit!

March
started going to the gym.
(this started out promising, but slowly declined to a massive failure. massive EXPENSIVE failure)

April
1. My house caught fire due to electrical fault. This near death experience seriously jolted me. Life is fragile and I was this close to losing it. I am sincerely grateful to the couple who drove past, saw the flames, and knocked on our door to wake us up. This event also drove my parents to purchase our own house.

2. After close to 2 years of being on my L plates, i finally got my red Ps on my first go! unbelievably i passed the driving test on my first run. (My instructor was quite surprised!) Now I've clocked up numerous hours behind the wheels, having driven to my uni, driven to hornsby and driven all the way to wollongong by myself. My driving skills are improving, but my parking skills, or lack thereof, is still hopeless

Got a macbook. Im not using it that much though :p

My LG phone got stolen at work :( But this made way for my blackberry

June
1.

Got really into jewelery making, and was rather good at it!

2.

The month of my birthday. Received a bouquet of my favourite champagne roses and a new wallet.

July
1.

Being utterly spoilt, I got a new car. It was just the right size, being really easy to park. (Even though i still managed to scratch the alloy wheels)

Went to melbourne to meet up jm <3

August
Started seeing "patients" in optom clinic and uni got abit more hectic. Also started watching Gossip Girl and started wanting a friend like "S".

September

Found the perfect blue-eyed husky boy and made him mine. I love big dogs and pandabear is too cute.

October
1.

Found an unhealthy new obsession = macarons... and ambitiously tried baking them...

November
Survived the ordeal of the exams and finished yet another year of Optom.

December
1. Spent most of my time being a workaholic and feeling like i bit off more that i could chew...

2.

Santa dropped a big bag of treats, including a new kickass camera. Panasonic Lumix LX5. Say Hi to high quality pictures.

Year 2010 was awesome... It was a year of ups and downs (Isn't that life?)

I thank everyone who walked with me through the year of 2010, and I wish you happiness and content.

I have no resolution for the year 2011, because i definitely won't stick to any of them. But I just hope I live it to the fullest and may it be a year of enjoyment and excitement. I should be young and fun, but sometimes i feel like I was forced to grow up too fast and there's a middle-aged woman in me...

(btw it is NOT year of the rabbit yet... argh all these ignorant people! year of the rabbit starts on chinese lunar new year which is in feb!)
